Snow Leopards Behaviors

So how do Snow Leopards behave? Well we know they aren't agrresive or territorial animals, in fact they're actually quite shy, preferring to stay in solitude. You can even see them patrol their home ranges regularly, sometimes with a male and female together, or with a mother on her own with her cubs. Once those cubs are over 2 years old, they begin to become more independent, as they set out to be on their own.

In order for Snow Leopards to communicate, they will leave markings on the landscape for other species members to find. They do this by scraping the rocks with their hind legs and spraying urine against them. Not only is this able to mark their terf, but it's also used to attract mates.
